The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) is preparing a global report, tentatively titled "/Unlocking the full potentials of fruits and vegetables globally/", to highlight the roles of fruits and vegetables in transforming agrifood systems globally and to promote validated transformative actions.
The report will /inter alia /feature selected case studies of replicable and scalable practical approaches and innovative solutions/. /FAO is therefore calling for nominations of suitable case studies, which may address agronomic, biological, nutritional, socioeconomic, or environmental aspects of the value chains of fruits and vegetables.
This call is open to organizations and entities working at national, regional or international levels, including research and academic institutions; government agencies; the private sector; non-profit organizations; farmers' organizations; and civil society. Please note that nominations by individuals will not be entertained.
The deadline for the submission of nominations, exclusively through an online form, *is 22 March 2026.*
